Las Vegas Travel
If you’re planning on traveling to Las Vegas, it’s a great
idea to plan your travel and stay in the famous Neon City before you go.
Otherwise, you’ll just get blown away in the whirlwind of gaming and non-stop
mayhem!
Traveling around Las Vegas
Once you’re off the plane and have made your way through the airport without
playing too many slot machines (there’s plenty of time for that later!) . . .
you’ll need to get downtown or head to the Vegas Strip to find your hotel.
Unless your travel package has an inclusive transfer, you have two options –
shuttle bus or taxi.
Companies such as Showtime and ACL offer excellent
shuttle services, costing less than $10 for a door to door, return ticket.
Remember to call the shuttle company 24-h before you need picking-up, or you
could end up with another night in Sin City! However, if you’re a high roller,
forget the shuttles and hail a cab – you’ll get there much faster for about $15
to the Strip and $20 downtown. Alternatively, big hitters can hire a Limo and
hit Vegas like a pro. There’s no need to worry about hire cars when you travel
to Vegas – there’s an endless stream of cabs and buses to take you to every
corner of the City.
Attractions for Las Vegas Travelers
Anyone traveling to Las Vegas is generally there to sample the casino gaming –
but there’s so much more to Sin City than the world’s greatest gaming venues.
For starters, travelers can enjoy an array of free Vegas
shows. The Fountain Show at the Bellagio and the Volcano Fountain at the Mirage
are both must see "after dark spectacles." Then, travel towards St. Mark’s
Square next to the Venetian and savor the array of talented street performers
and the freaky living statues!
Take a trip inside the Venetian and take a gondola ride
through the amazing Grand Canal Shoppes for $12.50. Alternatively, if you want a
unique view of the Vegas Strip, the Paris resort’s gazebo deck on the glowing
Eiffel Tower provides a special experience for $9.
There’s simply nothing like going downtown and sampling
the Fremont Street Extravaganza – with two million flashing bulbs lighting up
the Vegas sky. Even the magnificent casino resorts of MGM Grand, New York New
York, Excalibur, and Tropicana at the south end of the Strip deliver a sight to
behold…..and welcome you a land of un-rivaled riches and dreams.
Travelers who can’t leave Vegas without some special
gifts can indulge their shopping lust with a trip to the arcades at Caesars
Palace – complete with awesome circular escalators.
And if the casinos don’t thrill you enough – travel to
New York New York or Circus Circus Resort to sample the very best in Las Vegas’
theme parks. If you have the nerve, take the plunge off the Stratosphere Tower –
rather you than me!
Casino gaming for Vegas travelers
Most people who travel to Las Vegas are really there for the allure of the
casino gaming – and whether your travel package takes you to the heart of the
Strip or Downtown, you’ll literally have casino options at your fingertip
everywhere you look! Just like any of the world’s greatest casinos, lucky
tourists strike it lucky in Vegas every day of the week . . . with wild stories
of million-dollar jackpots. For most visitors to the Neon City however, you can
expect the usual battle against the casino. On average, traveling to Vegas
delivers a casino edge of 1.4% for Craps, 1.5% for Blackjack, 5.3% at the
Roulette tables and 2% if you find the famous ‘loose’ slot machines.
However, the good news is that as a guest of Las Vegas’
casinos, you’ll enjoy luxurious surroundings in the world’s most alluring gaming
venues and free hospitality such as snacks, drinks and shows. The rush can only
be experienced by booking a package to Las Vegas and traveling there for
yourself. |
